What is it with all of the sweet shops popping up in Homewood?!?!They already had Savage's Bakery and Pastry Arts. First came the Soho Sweets when Soho Square opened and ever since then there has been a sudden boom with the sweet treat trend.
Edgewood Creamery came to Edgewood on Oxmoor Rd., which I think was definitely need. But then Dreamcakes cupcake shop moved in as well. Next thing I know, I'm reading about "Icing on the Cookie" also in Homewood. The kids of Homewood sure are going to make their dentists some money this year.
It's a good thing I a.) don't live in Homewood anymore (and especially walking distance of Edgewood), and b.) gave up sweets for lent.
